This is an ideal sailing course for either the beginner  or the more experienced sailor looking for time on the water. It also works well as a refresher sail, for building miles towards RYA qualifications or even the chance to tick off some bits of an RYA certificate.

If you have a family or a group who want to get out sailing in Scotland then we can help. Yacht InTuition has space for 7 people in comfortable accommodation and whether you have never sailed before or you’d rather not have the worry of skippering the boat we can give you a holiday to remember.

We will watch the weather carefully to choose the earliest weather window to leave the Clyde and sail across the Irish sea. As much time as possible will be spent on the Irish coast visiting some beautiful harbours and anchorages before sailing back to Scotland and returning to Largs. This is an adventure holiday of a lifetime.

A trip to saint Kilda is on many peoples bucket list, but it isn’t always easy to get there. This cruise will involve some longer sails, night sailing and running a watch system with the ultimate goal being to step ashore at this magical place. This is a more challenging sail for those who have sailed before.

There is plenty to see without leaving the relatively sheltered sailing waters of the Clyde. After leaving Largs a stop on Arran is likely as well as a sail up into Loch Fyne with opportunites to spend some nights at remote Scottish anchorages and popular harbours. This short Scottish holiday offers you a taste of the beautiful Islands of the Clyde.

This 7 day cruise circumnavigates the Kintyre peninsula by transiting the Crinan canal before visiting Islay, Jura and Gigha before returning to the sheltered waters of the Clyde via the famous Mull of Kintyre. The route will be determined by the weather which will be watched closely and may be reversed.

The Hebrides Islands offer some of the most spectacular sailing in the world and it is right on our doorstep in Scotland. This course will be tailored to the crew to find the right balance of time sailing and time ashore visiting some beautiful Scottish anchorages and harbours. This longer expedition will be an adventure of a lifetime.

Yacht InTuition can take a novice or expert family group for an amazing day out. The day will begin with a safety brief before leaving the marina and hoisting the sails, under careful guidance from the skipper you will be steering and sailing the yacht. Our sail will take us past some of Scotland’s beautiful islands, we will see an array of wildlife including seals, sea birds and frequently a friendly dolphin!

Many ladies find that they learn better and have more fun when with a group of other women. This course is female only and we aim to have a female skipper onboard.
