RYA Competent Crew course at Largs, Scotland
The RYA competent crew course on the Clyde is for those new to sailing who want to become competent crew members rather than just passengers. The Clyde in Scotland is the perfect place to take this RYA course. You will be an asset to anyone you go sailing with. On completion of the RYA Competent Crew course you should be able to steer the yacht, handle sails, keep a lookout, row a dinghy and assist in all the day to day routines onboard a sailing yacht.
The course will take place on the Firth of Clyde where you will find some of the best sailing in Scotland. Sleeping and eating on board (apart from perhaps the odd evening meal out in a pub or restaurant if you choose!) you will learn lots about sailing, life on board and how fun it is. You will stay at a different marina, anchorage or harbour each night.
The RYA Competent Crew course can be run alongside the Day Skipper course on the same boat. So if a friend, family member or partner would like to sail with you, just let us know at the time of booking.
