Daniel started getting involved in yacht and boat deliveries from and early age delivering yachts around Scotland as a crew member. He has now gained over 100, 000 nautical miles experience and is a qualified Yachtmaster Ocean Power and Sail and a Master Mariner.

Deliveries he has been involved in include large luxury yachts to the Caribbean, race yachts around the world, several atlantic crossings, Mediterranean deliveries and all kinds of deliveries in Scotland and the rest of the UK.

It is important to get a good skipper involved when getting your pride and joy delivered. There are many amateur skippers happy to deliver boats cheaply to gain experience and time sailing but this is often more costly after damage is repaired and wear and tear is considered. A professional delivery with Sailing InTuition involves a full seaworthiness check of the yacht and rigging prior to departure, sympathetic but prompt passages, minor repairs carried out on route and a full clean down and condition report at the end of the delivery.

Having trained thousands of students it is easy for us to provide crew for longer deliveries and those on larger vessels where more bodies are needed to keep the boat running well.
